A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY FOR A SERIOUS EQUINE ENTHUSIAST

Trotting South Africa, regulator of harness
racing, monté and telebhela and custodian of the Standardbred Stud Book has
invested heavily in the development and establishment of a nucleus and the only
registered stud herd of the Standardbred (trotter) horse breed in South Africa.

Well known world-wide for its strength,
brevity, calm temperament and speedy trotting and pacing abilities, the Standardbred
is amongst other attributes the chosen breed of the Royal Canadian Mounted
Police. Collectively the Standardbred outnumbers thoroughbreds in terms of
annual global foalings.

Carefully selected with assistance from the
European and North American harness-racing jurisdictions, this all imported
herd comprises 10 mares, all pregnant and with foals at foot, as well as the stallion
Golden Tilly (SWE) with an outstanding  European pedigree, track performance and
conformation.

In its endeavours to privatise ownership of
the breed and proliferate the newly launched harness-racing code, Trotting
South Africa is proud to offer this stud as a whole or by lot for sale by private
tender closing 31st January 2014.
